![]() It had been ages since they had the chance to be intimate and take care of each other - the comeback demanded all their energy, time, and attention. ![]() Seungmin was looking forward to a group sleepover in the clan room. Of all of them, Changbin looked the least tired, even though he had been working just as hard as everyone else. He had been typing on his phone for at least twenty minutes, and Seungmin was pretty sure he was working on lyrics. He was drawing something in his sketchbook, not paying attention to another noona fiddling with his hair and making sure it was perfectly styled and ready for the camera.Ĭhangbin was sitting on the floor, his back resting against Minho's and Jisung's sofa. Hyunjin was curled up in an armchair, his legs tucked underneath him, somehow making himself look small, despite how long his limbs were. Seungmin was glad to see that they were both wearing gloves to prevent any empathic bleed-through while Felix slept. One held Felix's head to keep it from drooping while the other applied his eyeshadow. Minho was usually the best at keeping him calm.įelix was dozing off in the chair at the makeup station both of the stylist noonas attending him were amused by this. Jisung's anxiety had been acting up more and more lately, as it always did whenever they were going through a stressful phase. ![]() Seungmin suspected that the cuddling was more for Jisung's benefit than Minho's. Minho was stretched out on the other sofa with Jisung on top of him, both fast asleep. Maybe he could recruit others to the cause since Chan would have no difficulty getting free if it was just Seungmin trying to pin him down. He made a vow to himself to make Chan sleep as much as possible during the weekend, even if he had to lay down on him to make him stay put. Seungmin could see the dark circles underneath his eyes all the time now, even if they were covered up by makeup. He had been so stressed out by their comeback, barely sleeping even when they had the limited time to rest. Most of the other members were minding their own business or resting, using as little energy as possible.Ĭhan was by the door with one of their managers, talking quietly. They were all completely biased towards their maknae. Seungmin thought it was cute, but then again, nearly everything Jeongin did was cute. It seemed to work as Jeongin settled with a small sigh, nuzzling more into Seungmin's thigh. Jeongin made a sound in his sleep and fidgeted a little, so Seungmin paused his game and stroked his thumb gently over his cheekbone, trying to soothe him. The hosts were good-natured, and the competition was friendly, so they weren't worried about it too much. They haven't taken part in it before, but they have seen a couple of episodes, and it seemed okay. Thankfully, they wouldn't have to perform since the show's format was a competition between idol groups. Their poor maknae was just as tired as the rest of them, despite doing a good job of hiding it. He was sprawled on one of the sofas, Jeongin's head pillowed on his thigh as he was catching a nap. ![]() Seungmin played on his phone as they waited in the dressing room. The only plus side of the intensive promotion period was that they could eat whatever they wanted since they burned the calories like crazy. Two glorious, lazy days during which they could sleep however long they wanted, binge on TV, and eat massive amounts of food. The thought alone was almost enough to make him cry. It wasn't too much to ask for, in his opinion.įortunately, the show they were supposed to participate in was the last activity they had for the week, and their manager got them an entire weekend of rest. All Seungmin wanted was at least six hours of uninterrupted sleep. Singing and dancing every day resulted in sore throats and aching joints. All of the activities - the performances, the variety shows, the tv appearances, the interviews - had them burning through whatever reserves of energy they had saved up beforehand. But even Felix, their sunshine, had started showing signs of fatigue. All of it was a part of being an idol, but it never got easier just to grin and bear it. Little to no sleep, aches, and pains from constantly performing, fake smiles to put on whenever they were ready to drop, but still had to look pretty for the camera. A comeback season was always an exhausting time, and everyone in the industry knew it.
